by Kera Till
Born in France, Kera is an artist who shares her time between Paris and Munich. She has been sketching figures and fashion her entire life and now her works have been featured in numerous fashion publications such as TATLER, VOGUE, NET-A-PORTER.COM and prestigious clients such as Hermés, Ladurée and Biotherm.
She considers her art as a channel to discover and understand human kind. Often it is only hinted in singular fragments - the definition of the object is then lost and can vaguely be perceived again as a demeanor or gesture.
In addition to her fashion illustrations, she extends her drawing to food, architecture and nature. Her inspiration comes from everything beautiful and glamorous, from fashion magazines, photography, film and fine art to flea markets, shops and fine food. Kera's whimsical illustrations has the power to transport us to a dream-like realm that is pure and unforced. She works mostly with black ink and watercolor.
